I saw a lot of American school children today. Mainly because I was off the ship and walking past their school into their residential areas while they were heading to a day in class.
As America goes St Thomas looks poor and run down. Chickens roam free while small dogs yap behind fences.
I want to go up the cable car but it wasn’t open at 8.20am. I’ll go back later, after coffee.
Still, America continues to entertain.
My plan for today is to go up the cable car, take some photographs, get back down and find a bar showing the cricket. Since this is America that’s going to be a challenge but since we’re in the Caribbean and it’s the West Indies playing I still hold out hope.
